Joe Hida is a self-taught graphic designer and fine art photographer. Joe has interest in a sub-genre of minimalist photography which he calls 'candy coloured minimalism'. The vividly coloured negative space, surreal compositions, and offbeat subjects have an unusual yet irresistible pull. There is an overarching theme always present in Joe Hida’s work: unique blend of digital art and photography with the clean, crisp aesthetic. His main themes are nature and architectural photography with a surreal minimalism twist, distorting shapes and colours without losing their basic elements.
